Lisbon

Evora

Don't miss the remains of the Temple of Diana, the Sé (a cathedral dating back 800 years) and the macabre Capela dos Ossos.This chapel of the Church of Sao Francisco is lined with thousands of human bones.It was designed to give the monks who worshipped here a sense of their own mortality, the sign above the door reading "Here are our bones, we await yours".

Sintra

The town is centred around the three palaces, Palácio da Vila, Palácio de Queluz and the magnificent Palácio da Pena.The town is surrounded by picturesque countryside and woodlands, with walks that take you past other palaces and churches from various times in Portugal's history.

Arrive at Lisbon International Airport. Check-in and after that an overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 09 : Oporto - Coimbra - Conimbriga - Fatima

Visit the Roman town of Conimbriga and go inside the Convent of Christ at Tomar. Arrive later in the religious city of Fatima. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 10 : Fatima - Lisbon

After Breakfast Start your tour the Basilica at the pilgrimage site of Fatima where three young shepherds famously saw the apparition of the Virgin. Visit the monastery at Batalha, the best illustration of Late Gothic architecture in Portugal, which took a century to whole. Stop at the fishing village of Nazaré on the coast and visit the medieval city of Obidos. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 11 : Depart Lisbon

Have breakfast at the hotel. You have the day to yourself and then you can take your own flight.
